Top Tips for Video Journalists

The BBC College of Journalism has some great free resources that are relevant to Community Reporters. Here are a couple that will help you get the most from your video stories. The first leads you step-by-step through the process of how a BBC video journalist tells a story about a shoe-shining Bishop, whilst the second is a series of top tips for anyone who uses the sort of low cost video cameras we use for our Community Reporter training.

There are lots and lots of relevant links once you get there so it’s worth setting aside 30 minutes or so to pick up come top tips from the pros.

Community reporter training is off to a great start
